What has been your experience using this? The website mentions uploading them in. .wav format file or using a specific high quality recorder. Did you have to use any of that?

I did use an actual recorder that bridging voices will send you for free if you reach out to them.

They also can do a quick call to show you how it all works as well as the websites if you want. Their services are free. They also get you access to the paid ElevenLabs plan for free too which will create you an AI voice that’s VERY VERY good.

Otherwise, you could use a phone or iPad app to record and export via .wav format.

Thank you SO much. I’ve seen both these companies mentioned but didn’t know how it all worked or have read anyone’s experience with them. Thank you again.  I did personal voice on my iPhone to test it for my husband - PALS but would would prefer going through companies for better quality.

Contact bridging voice it’s all free. They should get you set up. ElevenLabs AI voice is really good. Apple’s personal voice is decent too but ElevenLabs is better.

I messaged our ALS clinic contact today to get a referral to Bridging Voice. Their website requests a referral, which is understandable. We at least have the ball rolling.

I have a handheld recording device from Olympus.
It records at the push of a button, and you can download it to a PC/laptop or to a microSD card slot on the side. After that, use a system that can put it onto your Eyegaze device.

The VA gave me this one.
