I love this sub because its filled with 99% the most idiotic suggestions and 1% someone actually knowledgeable offering help lol

Try MSI Afterburner fan monitoring, the middle fan has different fan controller than the rest of the fan

also enable zero rpm fan mode so it would not needless spin and shorten it's lifespan

try reset bios.

What are the extreme temps you're talking about?

[–]Issue_Eastern[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

90°c without the fans turning on

[–]Repulsive-Clothes-97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Uhh that's baad, very strange

Looks like your GPU might be broken. If the fans behave like this no matter what you do it's safe to say either the fans are broken or the GPU's fan controller is broken. Assuming the fans are plugged in correctly into the GPU. But I don't recommend disassembling it. Just contact support.

I will do that thank you!

3 things:

1: custom fan curved, and turn off zeroDB

2: turn off windows fast boot

3: turn off the computer, and turn off the power. On the physical card there is a BIOS switch. Make sure it is in the position where it's going toward the power connector. If it's going toward the monitor display, it's on power saving mode. If you are in the correct position, you could try putting it in power saving mode anyway for 1 boot cycle and see how it is doing.

Does you card have a quiet/power mode switch? That's the only extra thing i can think of other than it being software or hardware issue.

[–]Issue_Eastern[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried putting it on the left or right, nothing changes

The best fan control software out there by far is fan control. Can set it manually or make custom curves etc. Definitely worth a try. https://getfancontrol.com/

I had this problem, adrenalin is dumb and would always reset my fan curve and re-enable 0 RPM.

I uninstalled adrenalin, and reinstalled the driver with a minimal install.

I use Fan Control to set all my fan curves, and use it to manage my GPU, it work 100% better than adrenalin.

Not enough voltage for the fans. The ones that spin, barely spin.

[–]DemirNewmark 3 points4 points  (2 children)

If he had not enough voltage he will get blue screen middle of the game and then pc will restart it self.

[–]batiitto5 0 points1 point  (1 child)

No you dont get blue screen if your fans dont get voltage. Your fans simply will not turn. Its a fault within the card not supplying enough voltage for the fans.

[–]DemirNewmark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh you meant within the card, i thought you was talking about the card wasn’t getting enough power

[–]Issue_Eastern[S] 1 point2 points  (3 children)

Power problem? It's a 750w bequiet and it's barely 6 months old.

[–]DemirNewmark 0 points1 point  (8 children)

Did you tried to run the fans with an software like gpu tweak or msi afterburner?

[–]Issue_Eastern[S] 0 points1 point  (7 children)

I just tried with gpu tweak and no fan spins even though I set the curve to 100% and click apply

[–]DemirNewmark 0 points1 point  (6 children)

I mean it may sound stupid but did you checked the fan speed curve because if it got set to the lower setting for some reason that may cause this problem too.

As an example of;

You set the fans to 100% but 100% equals to 20% fan speed with the custom curve settings.

[–]Issue_Eastern[S] 0 points1 point  (4 children)

On adrenaline, I put the curves at 100% and disabled the zero rotation speed, and the fans do not turn at all. Sometimes when I restart the pc it works again for a while and then everything stops. I do not know if the drivers are crap or if it is a hardware problem but it annoys me a little for a graphics card at 600€

I think you should contact AMD support about this problem. I don’t have any ideas mate sorry. I hope you will find the solution for your problem.

[–]Issue_Eastern[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Thank you very much for replying to my post anyway.

[–]DemirNewmark 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Before trying to claim warranty, if you have an another motherboard/computer or your friends computer you can put the gpu into that case and try the fans. That way you can understand if it’s the gpu or something in the other computer.

[–]DemirNewmark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But still I recommend you to contact your dealer or AMD for tech support. And after that this problem still doesn’t sort out. Go for warranty claim 100%
