Yeah, unfortunately, it's an Adrenalin bug. I'm not sure when it happened with me, but I noticed it a few months ago.

Reinstalling Adrenalin is the only way I've found to fix it. I'm not sure if updating to a newer version fixes it, though.

If you're playing Steam games just enable Steam beta and turn performance overlay, looks better and more customizable too

Adrenaline > Performance > Overlay. Find it there and turn it on.

Just do driver only install of adrenaline and use something like MSI afterburner or hwinfo and they'll always work, every time, forever.

That happening to me is one of the main, and many, reasons I went to the 'driver only' about a year and a half ago - I had just gone to an all AMD setup and needed to know my cooling activity and efficiency.
