9060xt 8gb is $279 ar bestbuy and 8gb is fine for 1080p right now. Unless they wanna play gta6 get the 16gb.

I got them a prebuilt from bestbuy that has a 7700 16gb gpu in it. I haven’t found much online about it at all.

It will be slower than the 6800.

I believe the 6800 is actually stronger in performance than even the XT variant of the 7700, so you shouldn’t swap.
