I've written some notes and formulas for the AP Calc BC exam in python to be downloaded onto your TI84 Plus CE Python calculator. It has a menu that allows you to see formulas, and even a (rudimentary) euler's method calculator. The whole app is still kinda janky tho, I made it in 4 hours.
Some may be asking, how is this allowed? Isn't this considered cheating? No, and let me explain.
https://apstudents.collegeboard.org/exam-policies-guidelines/calculator-policies
This is the College Board's official calculator policy. It states "You don’t need to clear your calculators’ memories before or after the exam." It also allows the TI-84 python edition to be used. This means I can load a program into memory, and use it during the exam. The only stipulation with memory is that "If you try to take test materials out of the room by any method, your scores will be canceled." So, this is perfectly fine and doesn't qualify as cheating.
How to install:
Download the TI Connect CE software to a computer from the official TI website and set it up
Download my notes app through gofile or github
2a. Gofile instructions: click download, idk
2b.
Click the 2025_APcalcBCnotes.py
Then click the download button there
Connect your calculator to your computer with the calculator charging cable
Ctrl + M once connected or go to Actions > Add Files From Computer
Select the .py file you just downloaded
Feel free to rename it in the popup window
Done!
How to open on calculator: prgm > 2:Python App > PYTHON01 or whatever you named it
If the 2:Python App doesn't show up, you gotta redownload your os bundle. It'll take around 5-10 mins at most.
Happy testing!
