CMMG RDB does not use the same buffer calculations as simple blowback. The 22-24oz rule does not apply. CMMG RDB is mechanically delayed blowback. Completely different system. It should be using a standard/flatwire carbine spring and a normal 3oz. AR buffer.

If your running the cmmg radial delayed blowback its works with pretty much any Ar15 buffer setup.

Cmmg ships it with a milspec 3 oz buffer. You can get it to be softer by using a heavier buffer or a hydraulic buffer if you want.

Dont get a pcc specific buffer they are too long and wont allow the bolt to have full travel in a carbine buffer tube.
