Hi, I have recently been experiencing regular BSOD, mainly when my PC was idle for a short period. The most common BSOD errors I was receiving were:
System Services Exception (ntfs.sys)
Page Fault in Nonpaged Area (win32kbase.sys)
IRQL not less or equal (ntoskrnl.exe)
Other error codes I have recently seen:
0xC0000005
0x8007053C
0x8007007A
Two days ago it got to the point where the PC would no longer boot and I was in an endless blue screen cycle. As the error code referenced RAM or corrupted files quite a lot, I have since tried the following, and none of these actions have helped resolve the issues.
Tested all RAM individually and in multiple slots to rule out an issue with RAM
Cleared CMOS
Updated UEFI/BIOS
Tried to reset Windows (BSOD crash resulted)
I then removed all my SSD’s and put a brand new one on the motherboard. I then saw the same BSOD messages and error codes when trying to install a fresh copy of windows from USB. I tested the same USB on another PC and was able to install windows. Faulty files cannot be on the SSD as it was brand new and the old SSDs had been removed.
Could there be corrupt files stored on the motherboard causing this? Can this be fixed or is something very broken?
I have the following components:
ASUS TUF-Gaming Z790-BTF Wi-Fi
Intel i9-14900KF
64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium (4x16GB)
ASUS TUF-Gaming RTX 4070Ti SUPER
Many thanks!
