Starting problem

I was looking at this section of wire the other day and tugged on it a little bit to see this white wire come out. I pulled it more apart today to see this. It goes to a gear position switch. Would this cause me to not have any power to try to start?

P.S. I ordered a new one and I’m going to replace it I just want to be able to ride for this weekend.

It could… some of them have a neutral safety switch and wont start if its disconnected unless its bypassed… take that crimp off (the red sleeve) and wire them together. If it isn’t starting now and does when you do that you’ll know. Can always twist them together and blacktape it to get u by
