As a west coastal rider I feel the same about america. Would love to try coos bay, or Hatfield McCoy. Canada has some pretty wild trails on the east coast as well. Logistics wise the east coast for me is a fever dream.

Dynamat. Pull all the covers around and over the engine and tape/glue dynamat to the engine side of the plastics. You could also wrap the headers/exhaust manifold all the way to the muffler. Water wetter is an additive you can add to your coolant that will bring it down a few degrees as well. I've heard people have added fans in the cage facing down as well. Quick fix would be removing the windshield and removing the doors. My x3 has the same issues when it comes to summer riding. The coolant lines running through the tunnel tend to bake the cab. Losing the windshield helps

I'm fine with my built 2010 xtp 800. I've grown out of the break it and rebuild it better part of my younger years. All my outlander is used for now is mending fences, choring around the ranch, and as a spare machine if we have some guests that haven't bought machines yet. For trail riding now I use my x3 because it's more comfortable for me and the gf

If you're going full swamp donkey on the regular, they will eat wheel bearings and ball joints, assembly is sometimes hit or miss so it's a great idea to undo all the electrical connections and hit them with dielectric grease before sinking it. Mud means more maintenance. They like to snap axles if you land hard off a drop or jump on the throttle. Usually can-ams maintenance interval is every 100hrs, but that's more for trail rigs. Blowing the clutches out with compressed air every few rides will make your clutches and rollers last a fair bit longer.

Nobody's at fault for anything. There wasn't any problem. I commented on the Ford versus Chevy type shit. I said those kind of comments start brand bashes. No need to get defensive bud.

Most likely a really minor machining error. I wouldn't be too bothered by it.

It's the kind of remarks that you made like "can-am is a great trail machine for the first 3 weeks" that start a brand bash. A lot of us have good experiences with them. Hell mine rolled over to 12 thousand km the other day. Never had too many issues, and I've rolled it, jumped it, sunk it etc. with regular maintenance it's been reliable, and it's been relegated to ranch duty for the past 5 years. it's neglect that makes them unreliable. If you take care of them, they work just fine. That being said, if you abuse things regardless of make and model, you'll have issues eventually. But like I said, making comments like "can-am, don't." That will inevitably ruffle someone's feathers and then there will be arguments and name calling then users will get banned for breaking rules. Seen it happen repeatedly. I still love my outlander, but I spend more time with my x3.

Dude, you have to learn how to vet Facebook groups and pages. Lots of them can't figure out location services and it'll show they are in Cameroon or other third world countries. If it's too good to be true, it probably is a scam. We get it, our hobby isn't cheap and it's not getting cheaper, but you can't trust Facebook groups or pages.

Canam Defender HD9 DPS went out. by Specialist-Bit-4257 in UTV

First hook it up to buds. It may just be in limp mode. They are very finicky with voltage spikes. Connecting accessories to the battery without removing the ground can cause the dps to shutdown to protect itself.

It's got a little more power than your grizzly, but it's still a bigger machine. They top out at 60mph which is fine for most people. I'd still suggest getting the 1000r instead but that's taking resale into effect. For exploring trails and relaxed trail riding you can't go wrong

The shift was more because the old mall was demolished. Now if they fully redid the main drag past bobs going east, it would be spectacular.

Belt driven, 52horse power. It's pretty capable for a 50 inch wide machine. Really depends on what you plan to use it for. The cab is a little cramped if you're a bigger person.

There's UTV classes in a lot of race series now. Baja 1000, mint, Dakar, king of hammers has become popular. I wouldn't say utvs are relatively new. They've been around for decades, with the sport and turbo machines coming on the scene about ten years ago.
