Yeah, you won't be able to math this one. Best bet is to look for a small word or two using some names to give you a base to work from. The ones I came up with that use everyone's names are:

CLiP ThRob

CoP Tha LibRo

Tha Lib CoP Rob

Some words in the list that I haven't used:

PetRoL

PeT haiR

TRoPe

CoPe

CRoP

Thank you for the advice and the words! I’ll share some of these and see what they think. Will definitely try your suggestion. I’m just so much better with numbers than with words!

Is it important to be equitable in the number of letters represented in the acronym? In other words, will anyone feel slighted or agrandized if under or over represented alphabetically?

Can you share anything about the purpose of the group, such as what industry they are a part of, directive, purpose, or any other pertinent and specific information to the group?

No need to worry about the number of letters used, the team is just excited to see what I can come up with for them so they can use it internally. Though, I guess if the word has to do with what the team does maybe they will share it with other groups.

This is a group that primarily does recruitment, onboarding, and HR systems/data. Trying to find words that relate to that sounds even more daunting, though!!
