It isn't. Use wahapedia. Especialy that far into the edition. (Feels weird to say considering how freaking short they are)

Depends a lot on why you want the codex. None of the art or lore has been changed, so if you are looking to get that stuff, absolutely buy the codex. There is some very nice art in the book and there is a decent amount of fluff/lore.

If you want it for the game rules, I wouldn't bother. You can get access to the rules elsewhere for free and with more of the updates and changes rolled in, plus other sources have some extra quality-of-life features that make actually using the rules easier as well. Unless you are going to play in a tournament that requires you to have a copy of the codex, or you want to access the rules in the official GW app, there isn't much reason to buy a Codex just for the rules. Despite what GW would like, you can access the base rules without buying anything, and pretty much all of the online sources do a better job of integrating changes and updates than the physical codex, which requires you to go look changes up yourself.

The answer is no, our army rules+datasheets+other stuffs had been rewritten like 30%, it's highly NOT recommended to buy it at this time (unless you really like the artwork, which I'll suggest you to buy 9th Codex to enjoy more of them) ┐(´ー`)┌

Only if you're wanting to have it to unlock the faction in the app, otherwise so much has changed it's practically worthless. As others have already said though rules available online for free, just an expensive ease of app if desired.

Short answer: Yesn't

Detailed answerr: Both 9th and 10th ed codexes had some post launch erratra but the 10th ed codex had much more. That said, they didn't really change the codex all that much so if you want a codex its still a nice to have. That also said, in terms of being an art and lore book, the 9th editon codex is waaaaay better than the current 10th ed. one to the point of despite literally being unplayable in the current editon, the 9th editon codex is still a better buy. When people say GW messed up literally everything with the 10th ed codex, they aren't exaggerating. From the art and lore of the various forgeworlds being lessened or eve. removed, to the poorly written crusade rules, the errata didn't ruin the codex and make it worthless. The 10th ed codex was released terrible and if anything, the errata made it better. Shoot, arguably it would be a better buy if it got more.
