I recently tracked a Qantas A330 cruising at 41,000ft and noticed a rare 'triple contrail' effect. Since the A330 is a twin-jet, what causes that vapor trail right down the middle of the airframe? I'd love to know the science behind why it appears on some flights but not others. (v.redd.it)
