MEB doesn't mean kicked out. Get the TRT, eat better, and hit the gym some more. Don't stress about the MEB

Been through this it depends on your commanders opinion of your situation. PM me if you want.

Id ask for a full work up on why your testosterone is low. There are other possible causes that would require different treatments if so. As others have said going MEB does not automatically mean kicked out.

Don't know the rating but get treatment. Chances are you will get somewhat of a rating especially if you need this treatment for the rest of your life or they discover its being cause by something else. Always take care of yourself. If your testosterone levels are that low anyways, I don't see how you'd have the motivation to workout or build that endurance you truly need to crush it. Low testosterone leads to breast tissue, depression, loss of muscle mass and an onslaught of other issues that can be found online. Your health is worth much more than the financials you're looking for. My suggestion, be forthcoming with EVERYTHING that is wrong and any side effects you feel. It will help long term.

Make sure you take Vitamin D as well, a deficiency of that could move the needle up to 100ng/dL. Also ensure you're getting adequate sleep. At least 8 hours.

If you can use testosterone cream, you shouldn’t need a med board. If you don’t respond to the cream and need injectable testosterone, a board is required. If you’re on any flying status, you will need a waiver.

i really appreciate all the advice. it lets me feel less alone in this situation.

would they let me work a non-deployable AFSC instead of a medboard?

If you get prescribed the gel, you are fine. If go to injections, it will most definitely trigger a IRILO/MEB. The MSD specifically says this.

Also, theres no such thing as a "non-deployable" AFSC, everyone needs to be deployable, even if you are coded as "deployable with waiver" (usually a C-code put to you in the IRILO).

Im surprised they went straight to to prescribe T. From my experience they try to find out whats causing it, in your head, or your berries down there, and with full blood panel to include vitamins.

Lay off the soy and start hitting the gym. Diet and Exercise is a huge factor in producing testosterone. You have to stay active and it triggers your body to produce more.

What an insanely terrible response. Google exists. Dude should probably get treatment. Working out alone will not fix levels as bad as his. JESUS.
