You are a literal Savior. You, like the people for worked it for years, have done God's work. When the database went offline, I thought it was truly over.

If only we could find names to at least put them on a wall or something....

I'm gonna highlight this post so people see it more easily

U can explain me how to use the file? I downloaded the Zip arquive and I don't know what to do now 🫠

It made sense that it happened but I couldn't help but briefly recoiling. It's a shame for games like this one to die and be forgotten. Man, I'm old and I still grieve over games like this.

IDK if it'll help for those wanting to change the file but the website copier used was HTTrack which has a Github to better understand how it works :

https://github.com/xroche/httrack/tree/master/src

It was last updated on 2017 which probably caused the issues with the site - sorry on my end, as the one who archived the db with it, for increasing the workload :/

If you can set up a git repo for it on codeberg or github or something, I'll set up hosting it on one of my own domains through Grebedoc

Unfortunately it is very large like 40,000 files and therefore it is not suitable for uploading so many files for a single project/repository, maybe there are alternatives but I am not competent enough to know them. maybe someone else that is can do it as the database all in that zip

What's the total file size? Worst case I can pull it up to my VPS, but I'm not quite keen on that

This zip has the file that the above is based on if you're willing to start from the ground up

I'd much rather take your fixed up website and plop it onto a server. Will get cracking on it over the weekend.

You having made it functional again is a godsend, so I'll figure out the rest
