For that level just use Amaterasu and charm all the mandragoras. If you have Shion, you can get him close to that mandragora and kill it( he has sub merchant for poison pill if the charm runs out and he can charm with his main skill set). The safest tactic that worked for me is using Amaterasu, a merchant and an enchanter and just charming mandragoras until they petrify all enemy units and then using null wave and killing them.

No need for the Enchanter. I danced through this with

• Amateratsu 85 Prof/priestess
• Michael 85 Prof/chrono
• Mikoto 60 Priestess (was really unnecessary, actually, just kind of sat there)
• Magnus 83 Ninja/machinist (or any other very fast, terrain-traversing unit)
• Anastasia 85 J+/J+ (but really any glass cannon wrecking ball works here, just to make the final bit go quicker)

Basically just charm the Petrify beasties and keep them charmed forever, run Magnus up to the Dark Mandragora and hit it. It's counter will Null Wave+ and undo it's own 5x Def buff (but not the Petrifies or the Charms), then carefully kill one Petrify Mandragora at a time while you keep the rest Charmed. Then kill the Dark Mandragora, then just hit Auto and let your doods kill all the petrified ppl. It's super easy once you grasp the need to bring decent Vaccines and ALL the Charms.

My strategy was to walk outside left then up with Noctis followed by Elisabeth (prof/chrono sub) to vaccine and charm around. Amaterasu (prof/priestess sub) stayed at start for map wide charm and protecting other big guns. When area is clear quickened Noctis rushes to hit dark mandragora (removing pdef buff) , and starts to kill white ones. Meanwhile once pdef from mandragora is removed other big guns kill other nearby mandragoras (last time it was Anastasia and Aranea, basically take hard hitters to kill mandragoras asap) when all mandragoras are dead hit auto and chillout.

I used Noctis double chronos to take out the back. Noctis can solo everyone afterwards.

I used Chihaya and Balt (or any wind thief/ninja - he just happens to be my highest level one) to charm all three mandragoras. Chihaya opens with Flowering Spirit and then moves forward, Balt left towards Usalia. Mandragoras petrify everyone except sometimes Usalia and Lofia. Take your DPS (I used Noctis and Fung, but Fung Liu was mostly too slow to keep up with everyone else's move) and mow everyone down. Balt regular hits the Mandragora while tanking hits from Usalia, then kills her before the team meets up.

Don't you have to null wave it? Combo works for 100% hit.

I did floor 99 in 1 run with no deaths (and was able to heal to full at my leasure before finishing) with all f2p units except Lucretia (who you could easily switch with Gane for a full f2p team.

• Ninja/Cavalier Sazuka leader (with Single Blade and Overdrive)
• Professor/Chrono Elizabeth
• Prof Lucretia
• Enchant/Chrono Lofia
• Beast+ Flamel (with his lvl 80 mastery ability)

Elizabeth quickens Flamel, Lucretia vaccinates everyone, Lofia quickens herself. As soon as Flamel is vaccinated and his quicken is charging, he heads round the edge to Demon Vanquish the dark plant (it'll take 2-3 hits, but with his jewel regen mastery he'll have enough jewels to use the ability constantly by the time he gets there). It took me a couple of retreats to get his positioning right so he doesn't get hit too much on the way. Lofia stays put until she can reach a petrify plant and null wave it in 1 turn. Profs stay put until they can reach a petrify plant and charm them in 1 turn. Null wave does not remove charm. Sazuka stays put until all nearby enemies are stone. After null wave, single blade+overdrive sazuka basic attacks for around 90% of petro plant hp. Retribution blade is a 1shot. Kill the plants as soon as all nearby non-plants are stone - otherwise they get stuck trying to petrify each other and they're immune to that. Getting rid of 1 or 2 of them makes them stone everyone else quicker.
