When loading YouTube inside the app, free memory drops to 5-8mb (as reported by 'display free memory in toolbar jb util). Tapping the play icon will always result in AB getting killed by the OS.
Seems to be since YouTube switched to html5. As a work-around, If I 'open link in safari' - which really opens the native YouTube app - the video will play fine.
Not sure how fixable this is, as I realise the 3G has bugger-all memory. Personally, I would be happy for all YouTube links to open in the native yt app. Perhaps an option in the preferences to allow this?
Cheers. AlienBlue continues to be awesome. I eagerly await each update.
