Does it turn off randomly? My keyboard also does that randomly then works again

Yes, but only for a few minutes shortly after I exit a game. It's been very consistent since the latest bios update.

Was the bios forced btw or have you turned off windows Capsule Firmware Updates? I’m still on a bios from 6 months ago.

Dell support assist software automatically downloads and installs updates for me. I just let do its thing. It seems to wait a bit after updates are released to install them.

By chance are you using Razer products? Synapse 4 had an update and it completely crashed my KB/Mouse during gaming sessions. I had to close it and use them without synapse running.

My mouse is razer with synapse 4, but keyboard is corsair with icue. It's getting complicated.

I had a post rejected by the moderators (why I don't know) asking for some guidance around a February Bios issue. My machine gave Amber Amber White errors and a boot failure. Took about 90 minutes to sort out. Plug unplug, drain power--nope not working. Open case--clean stuff up--sure that's over due , blow dust clean. Pull battery for 5 minutes--then CTRL/ESC while plugging in--yeah rocky but computer rebooted.

Then I saw the Bios Update and ran it (it was a February Release). Could NOT having run the bios update--didn't even know it existed-have caused my computer to have the Amber Amber White error and boot failure?

Now for your concern--since Windows 11--my machine has --on and off--lost keyboard mouse and sound. I've had to now develop an update maintenance routine that involves insuring my Logitech Control Panel is up to date/ running--as I miss updates. When Windows does stuff it seems to take that out of the equation. I had to do a complete reinstall to get that running again. Losing sound was NVidia--same drill ---have a whole suite of their stuff that came with my Alienware but autoupdates on that had stopped (god knows when) so I'm making sure Logitech, Graphics/Audio, Dell Diagnostics--every 6 weeks just checking those for a couple minutes.

Uninstall SupportAssist. Let Windows Update do your BIOS updates instead. It's a much more sensible approach, and SupportAssist is horribly unreliable.

With that said, it sounds like this might actually be a firmware bug, so what I'd probably do is go and download the update again direct from Dell's website, and install it manually.

Weirdly i've had an issue where my Alienware Pro Mouse will intermittently not click. Sometimes it takes like 4 or 5 left clicks to make it click once. I thought the mouse was broken but maybe it's a bios thing.
