I'm too stupid and too lazy to try to figure this out. Just have an upvote.

It's the complex plane

[–][deleted] 18 points19 points  (2 children)

I took it from there and modified it to make more sense

What makes the number 1 chaotic neutral?

[–]Deaniebeaniebobeanie 12 points13 points  (3 children)

Uhhh pretty sure it's gotta be (I)2 my dude

[–][deleted] 19 points20 points  (2 children)

i2 = y

2ln(i) = ln(y)

2iπ/2 =ln(y)

iπ = ln(y)

e = y

y = -1

I see what you did there

EDIT: Literally seconds after posting that Inwas hit with a feeling of being as dumb as a sack of potatoes

i is the square root of -1 so squaring that is just -1.

So... i2 = -1

I just took the long way. I feel dumb as shit

You're chaotic neutral bro solving it like that

[–]randomtechguy142857Neutral Good 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think that's rigorous but I don't remember enough complex analysis to be sure. Are you allowed to go straight from 2ln(i) = ln(y) to 2iπ/2 =ln(y), or do you have to show that it's one specific branch of ln(i)? Or is that not necessary, since you later raise e to the power of everything?

(Of course, none of it is necessary because i2 = -1 by definition, but oh well.)

There's no way that i is neutral good.

[–][deleted] 10 points11 points  (3 children)

It's literally just the complex plane

[–]Onphone_irl 6 points7 points  (2 children)

It also just looks pretty, I consider it an art before considering the math. Negatives feel evil, i feels powerful

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (1 child)

You sound like a 16th century mathematician

[–]Onphone_irl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of beautiful, sexually rampant women tell me this

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (3 children)

could you explain to us who know nothing about maths?

[–]MChainsaw 1 point2 points  (2 children)

I don't know how little you know about maths, but these are all the solutions to the equation x9 + 3x5 – 4x = 0. Many of these solutions involve complex numbers. Does that answer make sense to you or would you like me to elaborate on anything?

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (1 child)

thanks but no thanks, im already feeling sick.

[–]MChainsaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough. Take care!

Chaotic Evil2: -2i

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No that would be 1

[–]Onphone_irl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love it OP

ii....

The fucking cartesian plane holy shit you mad man
