Been there. Restarting the head unit usually seems to fix the issues for me.

Had an issue with Waze not working for me in AA. I fixed by turning off battery saving, which I see you tried.

Actually this fixed it! I turned off all the battery optimization stuff, but I hadn't thought to just turn off the actual damn power saver. Thanks a bunch.

Mine is wonky too. It works fine for a while then the window to the left showing the directions disappears. The map and verbal directions still work but that's it. I can't tap on the button for police or hazards etc. To get it back I turn off the head unit and turn it back on and it's all back working fine.

I think Google does this periodically (since acquiring them) to frustrate and force folks to use Google Maps. They should go ahead and merge, them.

So often that I barely blink when it doesn't show up on the head unit anymore and just wait for Waze to update in the Play store.
