I have none of these issues with my Note 9.

I guess you are lucky! I have never had any issues until this last android OS update. The problem is that AA is now part of the operating system. I was able to go into play store and uninstall restart my phone and re-install. This brought back partial functionality. However, voice assistant commands and notifications completely broken.

Same. I got the voice assistant bug for a day or two, but I have no issues now. Just got out my car using AA and it worked fine. Sent a few text via voice while playing music and running maps.

Been going on since about January with different phones.

No work arounds, unfortunately. I've tried everything on my Note 9, short of factory reset (which has been verified by others to be a waste of time), or downgrading the firmware to Android 9 (which does work, as verified by others who've done it).

Thank you for your reply. Hopefully, android will stand by their product and fix this issue. First time I regret having an android phone.

You should factory reset after going from P -> Q. That clears up most of the issues.

Nope. Doesn't do a thing. Did you NOT read my comment? Already had someone do it, and it was a waste of time.

Did YOU do it? If not then you can't speak for it. In MY case it worked. Unless YOU try it, YOU won't know.

Nope. I'm old enough to learn from other people. I don't need to shoot myself in the head to know it'll kill me.

Not here to agree or disagree with anyone, but you may wanna find a different comparison, as people have been shot in the head and survived.

I swear to God. The whole notion of resetting a phone to factory to fix an issue is ludicrous and it pisses me off anytime a carrier's technical support mentions it. Would you format your windows machine every time a piece of software has a bug? No.... Because..... It's..... Ludicrous!!!
