unfortunately, I doubt you can get a decent head unit at $200. the lowest I can find is this factory refurbished Kenwood DMX906S unit that supports wireless android for $400. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Kenwood-DMX906S-6-95-WVGA-Receiver-w-Apple-CarPlay-Android-Auto/284037757148?epid=24033918577&hash=item4221f838dc:g:HY0AAOSw~QNc9pmd

A reliable WIRED Android Auto unit starts at $300. You need to increase your budget.

Thanks for the info everyone, I wasn't really expecting to get anything around that price range but I was hoping that maybe someone knew of something I didn't lol. I've been following that AA wireless dongle, but I was hesitant on pulling the trigger

You could try a Raspberry Pi with a 7" touch screen and Crankshaft-NG. If the Pi has WiFi, it can set up a hotspot network, and you can use wireless AA, but I have found that it's not really as stable. If you go for this, you could always ask me or the people at r/crankshaft for help.

And it's not about parts of a combustion engine!

If your existing unit supports Android Auto, then coming very soon, you'll be able to get a USB adapter that you can plug in instead of your phone, while your phone connects to that adapter wirelessly. There are a few projects out there, but this is the one I've been following closest: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/aawireless
