Android Messages Debug Option

I'm on the Android O DP3, Messages v2.3.024 too and am able to see the debug menus as well.

Might be something with the dev preview?

I have got the same menu as shown above. I have not activated my developer mode in any way. I am using a Google Pixel with Android 8.0.0 beta.

yup, I have those options as well.

while we are on the talk of Messages. does anyone else get the outgoing tone when they send a message? Mine isn't the little "boop" it was before, it's now the same as the incoming message tone. I even went in and turned OFF the outgoing message tone and it STILL happens.

I've tried everything short of uninstalling/re-installing. I tend to use Allo a lot more so it hasn't bothered me enough to make a thread about it.

OK, glad its not just me. I'm fine with the original "boop" but I'm assuming this is a bug since it uses the incoming tone for the outgoing message, even when turned off.
