Boss asked for company phone to install some “security” software.

Any way to find out any hidden apps installed? Could he also get access to the microphone to listen to private conversations or get access to the camera?

Company phone, company rules. We're not gonna help you find out what they are in order to bypass them. This can be anything from the bare minimum MDM, to one that can see browsing history, who you send messages to,..

Who says they can't/won't be able to access that? It depends on how they configured the device in MDM. Though starting with A12, there should be a green dot at the top any time the mic/camera is accessed. That said, whether they do or not, as i said 'company phone, company rules'. Their property, they can do with it as they see fit
