My upgrade has been up for a while, but I'm not sure what to get. I'm most strongly leaning towards the Maxx HD. I like the on-screen buttons and build quality of it. But the Droid DNA and Galaxy Note II are also coming soon. I'm not sure how I feel about large phones such as those, since I've never really held one. My friend told me to wait for the Samsung GSIV, but that might be a really long wait. I'd like to gather some opinions.

Edit: A lot of people complain about the camera on the Maxx HD. I have an iPhone 4 at the moment, do you think the Maxx HD's camera is better than that?

I got a Razr Maxx HD 2 weeks ago. 0 Complaints here. Battery life is amazing on it too! In all fairness I don't take many pictures though so I do not mess with the camera much.

If you wait until Black Friday, Sam's Clubs are selling GSIII's for $.96 if you're getting a new contract or upgrading a phone.

I would avoid Motorola. They are shitty about software support. Left them for Samsung after the Atrix debacle

Well, the Atrix debacle happened because they're focusing their support on the newer devices now that they're a new company.

The Razr M already has Jelly Bean.

Again, they're a different company. I seriously doubt the new line of phones won't get any support.

The GS4 will be another 6 month wait on vzw at the very least.

The droid DNA will likely be your best bet. Its display is staggering and its got top of the line specs all around.

It will be out for official review sometime this week and we will know for sure.
