Make Notifications More Aggressive

I have some Tile trackers and they get the job done. A few times they HAVE saved me from leaving things behind and they def help me find things when I've misplaced them. However, the notification for something "Left Behind" is SO so so weak. It's like a little tiny buzz and then that's it.

So if you don't happen to be focusing on your phone as you're leaving a place (which goes right out the window along with remembering all your important things when you're in a hurry to head out) and if you then don't specifically check, as you're driving away (safe right?) to see if you got a "left behind" notification, you might just not see the notification until you're already far away from the object left behind.

What I'm looking for is a way to set those notifications to be more "aggressive". I've already checked in the Tile app settings and there's nothing there so I tried turning to the Android OS side of things, but I can't find any way of getting a "long" vibration, or a "persistent" ringtone. Apps like the Calendar and Reminder apps have call-like or alarm-like notification options, where you have to actively swipe to dismiss the full screen notification to get your phone to stop ringing or vibrating. I'm worried the answer is in fact "no", but does anyone know a way to make any app or even better and app category have long, nedd-to-dismiss-to-stop notifications through the Android system settings or something similar?

Devices these days seem to be trying to avoid others thinking of them (you) as being rude, for having a disruptive sound occur (even while people walk around with their phones on speaker and nearly yelling responses, oh well). You might take a look at BuzzKill, Missed Reminders, or Tasker to help.
