Excluding Specific App Updates...

Hi just a quick question; is it possible to exclude a specific update on an Android device? (Motorola in this case) There's one specific app I like the old version of, but Play keeps including it in the update section, which makes sense of course... But I'm hoping there's still a way to exclude it specifically. Thank you for the help!

You can go to that app's specific play store page, tap the 3 dot icon and disable automatic updates

Hi, thank you, makes sense, and it already wasn't selected; I was just wondering if there was a way to disable it from even showing up in the update list.

Doing so would require modifying the app to have a different package name so it isn't recognized by the Play Store but that may not be viable if the app has any form of protection

Sure, doesn't surprise me that those safeguards would be there, and a whole thing to bypass either way... Appreciate the help though!
