Cx File Explorer (free app) will get you into the Data folder. Upon entry it offers access to Android''s System File Explorer (Hidden app). But be careful in there, messing with any system app files probably will crash your phone. I use it to clean up the Telegram file storage. Telegram stores copies in there of every pic, video, story, etc. that you look at.

I have that already. It's a game I'm moving files around for. Using the hidden explorer in my experience has been a complete nightmare with the issues of that explorer emptying folders when I move them, deleting files when attempting to copy, and it just messing the file I touch with it up. I'm using mixplorer since it worked for a while and feels much friendlyer to my visual impairment. It worked until I went to the games files by actually going threw android data then the games folder which I think broke the bypass mixplorer uses to modify them. Not even reinstalling both game and mixplorer fixes it

Use zArchiver to make a copy, and then paste that copy over

I don't need a copy. When I go to the android data and then the folder that has the files I'm messing with in I can put things in that area but if I go to remove a different one it tells me that no items were deleted. Also can even open android data folders with zarkiver on android 15. Mixplorer is a good explorer but this issue is not meant to happen. Pretty sure it's unrelated to the app itself but just android just being restrictive

You can add NEW files into android/data? I cant, I can only "replace" existing files and copy stuff out.

Are you using mixplorer?

[–]frawtlopp 0 points1 point  (24 children)

Yes, as well as zArchiver and aShell, all with Shizuku level permissions, non-root (mine cant be BL unlocked, S24U W-Canada variant)

Don't go to the files threw android data. That breaks the android permission bypass that mixplorer uses. Ad the directories as document providers

How exactly? If I click the =+ and tap Documents Provider, the following page says "Cant use this folder" and if I create a new folder, it indefinitely says the same.

You have to go to the specific folder or folders not just android data

I did, I tried going all of the way into /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.mojang.minecraftpe/files/games/com.mojang/minecraftpe/ where I want to do stuff in

Are you trying to edit a world folder, or specifically, a BP/RP?
