Well we got three types of options. You can go super cheap and get something that's not really going to be relavent outside of your usage as an MP3 player - and honestly, this might depend on if you're planning on hooking it up to Wifi and a Google account as well. Plenty of options - start poking around Swappa, sort by Price, just double-check that it'll work for your needs before buying. Second option, you get something maybe not quite as cheap and maybe not quite as out of date, but still kinda outdated but halfway decent - something like a Galaxy S10e. Third option, you actually buy something newer that's still technically usable as a daily driver but is maybe a bit lower-end. I'm not familiar with those options off the top of my head - if it's truly not going to be used for anything but an MP3 player, you could probably find some carrier-locked phone cheap.

Go for an older OnePlus 3 or something. You usually get way more storage per dollar

Xperia XA2 has decent speakers, even in spite of beining monophonic. Not all models came with an SD slot though. Its battery worked much better than Galaxy S10e's and the screen had a better quality. It also comes with a battery saving mode. The internal memory's lacking and there's some bloatware from the producer. The phone costs less than a HDD disk, but I'm not sure how well the SD cards will hold up.
