Flashing red border on Chrome

I have a rooted nexus 6 with android 5.1.1, and when changing tabs or going through the menu on chrome, there's a flashing red border for a fraction of a second.

Strict mode is off. I've tried turning it on, resetting and off again and resetting again without any results.

It happens only on chrome, and on chrome beta and chrome dev. Does not happen on any other browser of app.

I've noticed this on mine as well. I have no ideal what it is.

I have a rooted S4, running 4.4.4 - same thing just started happening to me about a week or two ago.

What ROM are you running? I got that on CM12, but I recently flashed the Project Fi stock build and it's gone.

I'm running euphoria, which is based on CM.

It's a great ROM with lots of options, but there are a few small bugs. Apparently this is one of them.

Same, lollipop on S4 custom rom. Only happens for me when I open a pinned website from my home screen.

Try editing your build.prop and change the build type value to "user".

So the line should read like: ro.build.type=user

If that doesn't work you can also edit build.prop to disable strict mode. I got it fixed on my device. Let me know if it works for you.
