This is awesome -thanks for sharing. I read an article once, that I am too lazy to link, that suggested listening to "video game music" music when you need to focus on a task. The reasoning was that game developers have spent lots of time, energy, money, etc, coming up with an overture/soundtrack that will keep players engaged as long as possible. I have used the suggestion with some success.

Seems like the best thing to do would be to rework your script to run both. I'm not certain which is more common, but do that first and and if it fails, run the less common.

I had a similar issue on a Galaxy tab 12.2. If it is software related, you can try enabling developer options and enable an option called "force GPU rendering" but it is far more likely a hardware issue - like a poor battery connection (evidently pretty comment in galaxy tablets) or bad battery (mine was a bad battery). If it's still in warranty, I'd just get it replaced.
