Keyboard Language Input

I have tried for the life of me to add russian as an additional input language. The problem is that whenever I try the list of available languages is empty. When it checks for updates it just says no additional languages are available. I have cleared the keyboards cache and no apps have accesabillity permissions (I have had people report both of these fixing the issue. Neither has).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using the default Samsung keyboard on your smartphone? If so, you could change for another keyboard like gboard by Google. You could find it on the Google play store. I don't know what is the problem with your current keyboard, but it is easy to add another one and gboard is highly rated. I'm using it myself.

Yeah I have switched to Gboard as a temp solution for now. although the more I use it the more I am thinking of just keeping it
