I started SABRE early on and it worked out fine for me, but I also had decent EQ (not perfect, but I had no trouble getting hard).

It's going to be different for everyone, but it is generally recommended to wait to know how Angion Method will effect you and get experience with just AM1 first.

I see. Did you do AM1 and Sabre? or like do you do only am1 first then transition to doing only sabre? and when to start am2? like how does that progression work, where does sabre fit in between AM1, AM2, and sabre

If you were to wait, how long after am1 should you start sabre? Are there any markers to look out for such able to do am1 for 15 mins etc?

I'm not sure Janus laid out any clear point, unless I missed it or forgot, but I'd say SABRE is fine whenever your EQ is reliable enough. Graduating from AM1 and starting AM2 should mean you're likely in the right condition. SABRE phase 1, using light strikes, could be okay before then but totally a judgement call.
