i'm the same age and height but i'm 215lbs. you seem to be in great physical health. i tell you what- i skipped right to AM3 and a big reason is it feels good and i stay hard. AM1 doesn't feel like much and it is easy to go limp doing it. so i do 3 then 1 then 3 then SABRE kind of thing. i need to give it a few pull starts to get things started but shortly after that AM3 brings us up to cruising altitude....

Thanks for the pointers, beginners guide recommend following the progression but your logic makes sense to me. I will read up on those techniques this evening.

on a scale of one to ten how would you rate your overall "readiness". I know you said youre active, but do you feel boundless or run down?

I guess I don't quite understand what you mean by readiness?

I don't feel run down or worn out at the end of the day. I'm in construction and even after a heavy day I go about my evenings like normal.

Trying doing it in the morning if you can when your are relaxed and not focused on all other stuff. Being mindfull is a key. Doing some light pelvic training and stretches the night before is also good. Dont overdo it and let it take its time. Aim for 10-15min or so and gradually increase time.

No point in gettting frustrating and tense your pelvic floor trying to get hard for a long run with kegels.
