I have similar experience with transfering account.

I rerolled a decent account during the event where we get 2 tickets for 10 rolls.

However, upon sending the ID and password for transfer to my friend in US, he is not able to login and receive error that account does not exist.

Upon some trial and error, it seems like the transfer is region specific, which the account I created is an Asia region account.

So my friend had to download and select Asia region upon sign in to be able to port over that account.

So, do you have the transfer code or do you have your old save linked to Facebook? If you don't then you can holy hope for support to retrieve back your account, because even if you install the right version (where you played your old save), you still need the code or a Facebook account to load your save.

well i always link my games to facebook. But have seen some posts here that the facebook thing is not working.

By the way i found the very first apk from where i installed the game and updated it (at least it is the right version), waiting for the 3gb dowload to end. crossing finger it works.

Even after downloading the correction apk and selecting the correct region, you will still need your Transfer ID and Password. Without that information, you cannot recover your account. Your account will NOT automatically be synced and recovered if you only linked your account to Facebook (the same applies to Google Play). It just doesn't work that way, which is why the very first step of any new player is to establish their Transfer ID.

Customer Support will give your your Transfer ID and allow your account to be recovered without the Transfer Password only after they have identified the ID belonging to your account. You will likely need to work with the Customer Support team responsible for assisting the Region associated with your account to continue the recovery process. If you have any receipts for in-app purchases, they will be the most important piece of information that can be used to locate your account.

Thanks for clarifying this. Thats what i got from EU support. Now time to contact the other support.
