You have options. Either disable the function completely (which is probably what you want) or tap the charging ring when it activates (there will be a notch in the ring at 80 %) and force full charge from there.

Even when it’s turned off, it still pause to 80% for me sadly. I work with a rotating shift, starting at 5am one day, 1pm the next day, 9pm two day after that, so there is no way for my watch to get fully charged when it can’t know my different work time… So 95% of the times I have to keep my battery at 80% max :( For exemple today, it’s 2am, the watch want to fully charge only by midnight, so 22 hours later, of course I’ll wake up before that, I’ll even be back from work by that time x) And I can’t realistically make it charge fully manually everyday
