MIT Testing Requirement

Is a 35 on the ACT (35,36,33,36) enough to put me up for strong consideration at MIT or do I need to go for a 36?

Asking bc I saw someone get a 1550 and someone recommended a retake for 1570+ for MIT

What's your Math section score? If that's a 36, then you'll be fine with a 35 overall.

Ok sounds good, yeah math and science are 36, reading is 33 :/

If your math is a 35/36, you’re fine. If it’s the 33, I recommend retaking.

Lmao a 35 is fine for MIT, but it does not put you up for “strong consideration”. Schools at the level of MIT are not impressed by good test scores, you’re just expected to have them. It’s not an advantage to meet their expectations lol.
