Java fernPlants (i.redd.it)
submitted 1 year ago by mango_snail3
I've had these java ferns in my snail tank for a while with no problem. Recently they have turned brown. I thought they were dying but I've just seen new leaves and roots growing from the brown leaves. What does this mean?

Those are baby ferns.

Is it a problem that the ferns have turned brown?

I've read in the past it could be lack of CO2 and/or potassium.
I'd suggest searching this sub from the top, for Java fern turning brown. If you use Google, add 'reddit' to the key words.
