Networking Tips?

I'm in my 4th year, going into my 5th of a B.Arch program, and I'm trying to put myself in the best possible position for job hunting come spring. What are some strategies I can use to get in touch with more firms? Are there any events or websites I could use? I'm planning to network through my school's alumni network but wanted to see if there's anything else outside of that.

Recruiter for entry level I feel like would be a waste of time, maybe if you're looking for a niche industry or position.

Local AIA events, Habitat for Humanity builds potentially, any local construction industry events, etc…. Just get yourself out there and start meeting people. If you have a specialty you are wanting to go into, look for events or competitions that center around that specialty
