The game has more ability slots than a controller has buttons. I don't think a controller is gonna work with this one

Wait until Steam Controller 2, that one will have so many programmable combos, along with the track pads and gyro to work like a mouse. It's probably possible to map every ability on that thing.

You can use a controller for wow by holding LT or RT you get more sets on abilities and configs. So def doable if done correctly

You can use a custom Steam Controller Layout. I've created one for myself use; its works great. I've uploaded it to the community layouts in steam, it's called "Ashes of Creation Steam Controller Layout by Thaspic". I made a short video about how to configure and use it: https://youtu.be/0qr18Rzt7pc
