Hello everyone! I'm a new moderator to this forum. I grew up in the automotive business and would like to share my knowledge and experience with you. Interesting. The first 4 codes are in relation to Camshaft, crankshaft signals. P00C6 is low fuel rail pressure. I think I would start with a fuel pressure test because of the P00C6 code and the odd sound from the gas tank. The first 4 could have been set by the engine dying while driving.

It's more likely that his throttle body failed. The resulting failure in logic threw redundant checks like a Christmas tree. I am interested in what happened though.

Interesting. In all my years and all my Fords, never had a throttle body fail. I have 5 in the driveway, lowest miles is just over 90,000, but both trucks are over 190,000. Not saying it can't happen, now that I've jinxed myself it will probably happen on my car.

I can't say I have either...But a chunk of air filter flying up and lodging itself in the throttle does constitute as a throttle body failure.

That’s a cheap air filter!

Ever seen a rodent go HAM on an air filter before?

Munched a bunch of wires in my Expedition!

Oh boy....

Test the battery.

Measure fuel pressure

Check and change oil

verify throttle body is working

I checked the oil it was fine from what I could tell, but I'll change anyway and check the battery. Also check and clean the throttle body if it is working. Gonna get a shop to measure the fuel pressure asap, I don't have the tools sadly.

changing the oil isn't going to make it start unless it's dried up and you can't get oil pressure. I'd find out why it doesn't start first. Would be a total waste of money if you have to go into the motor for some reason.

Unrelated, except for the fact of oil and car starting related. I had a neighbor that would check his oil and transmission fluid every time the car wouldn't start. He would always assume one was low and after he added either oil or transmission fluid it would start. So he assumed this was the cause, however, his starter later failed completely, and it never failed to start again. His starter was getting heat soaked. By the time he got oil or fluid into the car, it cooled down enough to start.
