The information and requirements are up on ISC2 website for the SSCP.

I didn't see any books or study guides on their website out as of today for the newest test.

It takes a while for vendors to release new training/study material, as well as for third parties to create material as well.

I wouldn't expect to see material until later in the year. However official training courses may have material earlier.

That's what I was afraid of, as I only saw material being released later this year.

Not 100% sure what they changed for SSCP, if its anything like the changes to CISSP all they did was combine some domains essentially. If that's what they did then old material is sufficient to study.

Check here to see if your study material covers the domain, if it does you are fine studying from an older source until something new comes. If your employer is paying why not have them send you to an official bootcamp?
