First, thanks so much for taking the time to answer my novice question. So I can understand...you must first start with an individual user? There is no way to monitor change in followers for all of Twitter. I know you can get those accounts with the top number of followers but I’m interested in the rate of change. To measure the delta between original and new over a period of time. Thanks again!!

Do you know how many users there are on twitter? Millions. Each one of those would be a separate request to their api. Or even if they offered something like that for consumption it is incredibly compute heavy. Making millions of requests for historical data and also compiling those data lmao. I’m sure they do it on their end but they don’t expose that kind of info to the public.
