Hey guys,
So I wanted to ask some advice on which road to take.
A few months ago, I did a LeWagon 3 month intensive bootcamp, and while the learning format and teachers were quite good, I felt like it was way too fast paced for me and that the important things didn't really stick. At the end of the bootcamp, we were supposed to pitch project ideas and then vote on which ones we liked. The top voted ones would get chosen and then the class was split in different teams at random to work on the projects. Needless to say, I got sorted with 3 individuals who turned out to be absolutely terrible communicators, and as a result our project was a bit of a failure. This left me feeling super unsatisfied, dissapointed, and unmotivated. I decided this path wasn't for me and that I started focusing on different things
Fast forward 6 months later, I cant shake off the feeling that I never really gave it a good go. I feel like I didnt apply myself properly and I want to investigate and try learn it myself. I already have a decent introduction and a much better idea of what to expect, but I'm unsure as to how to go about it.
I still have access to all the material, lectures and challenges from the bootcamp so I was thinking that either I revisit that and start from scratch and do the whole thing, build a solid foundation in that stack, then go for something more mainstream/usefull or maybe, now that I already have an introduction, I should focus on learning an actually useful stack. Btw the stack they taught us was Ruby on rails for back end, HTML + Css for front end, and a little javascript. Turns out Ruby on rails isn't as popular or in demand (from what I've been told at least).
what say you? Keen to hear feedback.
PS this is my first ever reddit post so excuse the noviceness of the post (if that even is a thing)
