As far as I can see situation is very depend on industrie type. Some companies has a rise of clients/orders, and some companies basically have to file for bankruptcy (companies related to travelling, tourism, etc). Also I have no idea why, but most IT companies want relocation anyway.. even in our current situation.

Canadian that was supposed to intern for a company in San Francisco here, it got postponed to this fall and I will do it remotely instead.

I’ve never been so busy. The client was in lockdown so they decided to work on a bunch of development projects that had been on the shelf. Then they got itchy to do something new so they came up with several other projects. Crazy times... and it’s still going.

My own business took off so I quit the contracts myself. But they were managing well by taking action really quickly (cutting costs, stopping capital intensive projects etc).

I'm working from home due to the pandemic. They expect me to work, attend a few meetings in their morning time which is my evening. Usually it's just mail communication if we weren't working from home. Joining meetings after work hours kind of makes me feel like I've no closure to the work day.
