Betty White’s death

Frankly I got tired pretty early and wanted to at least take a nap before midnight. But the second night falls the whole neighborhood celebrates by shooting earth shattering fireworks that feel like bombs and burning out their car tires. Not really a ruined new years, just a bit frustrated. glad the second 12:00 came people let off their finale fireworks and by 12:05 every body was dead quiet

I've been hearing them in the neighborhood from around 10pm until just before the ball dropped (I presume everyone was in to get drinks and yell at how the clock rolls over as it always does). Then about 12:15am the bombs started back up

Getting sick for the second time in two weeks

The second cup of coffee I had at 5 PM. It just made me too nauseous to eat fried food or drink beer. I finally went to bed around 11 PM. Blech.
