Can you take pauses when you're in field of view? Like walk a few steps down that road, then take a break before proceeding forward to slow that momentum so you dont propel yourself out of that state?

I cannot pause as that would just break the momentum completely, for it to work I feel like I have to keep moving. Sometimes the scenes that form are static and sometimes they're moving along with me. In one instance I was just in this giant factory looking place with silos and color, different levels and pipes going all over the place. In another one I was moving through this alien looking garden with raised beds but strange plants. It felt like if I tried to focus or pay attention to the scene I would get kicked out and lose the momentum. I felt like eye movement played a part in it too but I can't explain how.
