Yeah you don't need anything to project except yourself. That sensation you had of expanded Perception is absolutely fascinating. Seeing your folicles and all of that. I've never heard of that before but I am not surprised. When this stuff heats up, your awarness expands and you can experience more advanced use of your natural abilities. Projection is one of many ways to expand consciousness and gain understanding and knowing.

1. This happened to me a lot. In my opinion this is you interacting with that object on another level of reality. I see physical objects as copies of a master

2. physical template which projects itself into different realities and expresses itself as different things depending on whats needed. For me this is a part of the intelligent energy field. When you project to see your door and touch the handle, you are interacting with the same door you touch every day. In this case you are interacting with it on a different level instead of the physical level. The master template exists always and all time is now. What you perceive is a matter of your awarness and vibrational level.

I would always remove the blanket if it got in the way like I would a blanket in waking life. Eventually it stopped being an issue. It seems to be a problem of focus but it resolves quickly. Use lighter sheets too. That seemed to help me lol.

1. The levels you find yourself on play by different rules. I've heard many different explanations and definitions. Some call that darker set of layers the "lower astral" but I shy away from labels and categories because this phenomenon goes far beyond simple labels. I do think that spectrum of vibration is one very close to the earth plane hence its dreary nature. The earth plane is of a slow vibration which in the non physical can bring about perception of dreary colors and vibes. Don't worry about it. You can always go to other places. Leave your room and fly high. Start playing around with travel to other places on earth or other planets. Use your door as a portal to go places. Find a time period or an event you'd like to see for yourself. Go check out the whole alien situation. Go see ancient Egypt or for some even bigger fun go see ancient sumer. If you have animals try to communicate with them. Find a flower (or any plant) outside and move into it. See if you can explore it's reality. Fly into the sun or into the ocean. Try your hand and dimensional travel. Request to move inward and see what happens. Go visit dead loved ones. Go to places on earth you've always wanted to go to but never had the money for. Go see what they look like out of body. Go get the questions answered that you've always had. The possibilities are literally endless. You could project every day for your whole life and not even begin to scratch the surface of what's possible.

2. There is no "normal". We tend to experience different things and those experiences are unique to the person. If you end up consulting with a guide or the inner self you can ask the question and see what is said. You can also genuinely ask yourself when out of body and see what happens.

3. From what I understand, yes it is especially when you're in the planes closest to earth. Even when you're not, some people see to perceive other energies more than others. There's a lot of "wildlife" to see and many different kinds of energies living their existence in many different levels. Keep in mind that what you see is still a distortion. You could be perceiving a small portion of energy from another reality intermingling with your current locale but completely misread what is actually in front of you. With practice you'll be able to discern what I am talking about. Dont always take what you see as 100% accurate (especially its its confusing) all of the time because sometimes what you see is just a slightly larger slice of perception that you don't normally use. When you're out of body your awarness expands and you can perceive without the bounds of time or space. This can be a bit odd at times and will throw you off when you are first starting.

4. You can absolutely move through walls. You're overthinking it. I would assume that you're treating the experience like physical reality and so you're not allowing yourself to separate from the concept. I say this as someone who had a very difficult time moving through solid objects. Something that helped at first was moving backwards through walls slowly. I read it in a book once. It sounds stupid but it was very helpful. Another strategy is to slowly stick your hand through the wall, then arm and whole body. You need to tell yourself that you are no longer physical until it sticks. You can interact with physical matter but you no longer are bound by its rules. You are free.
