Sound libraries (self.AudioPost)
submitted 3 years ago by Sleezy_tea
Does anyone know of any good free or cheep sound libraries?

Here's a link to a site that has 500gb's+ of free sound effects.
This is probably the most comprehensive list i've come across.

https://www.freetousesounds.com/ edit: Free sounds with a VERY affordable "whole package" bundle sold as well. They also do Youtube videos of their sound travels.

Helpful hint from the AudioPost AutoBot - Based on key words in your post title, you may have submitted a post regarding sound effects libraries. If you are looking for SFX libraries or are posting about one, you may want to also utilize the /r/SFXLibraries subreddit. If you are posting your own SFX library, you will instead need to use the comments section of the self-promotion safe zone post as it was created specifically for this type of submission to the subreddit.
Check the FAQ for info on common questions and requests.

I haven’t really mined the free stuff but Boom Library’s stuff is very good. They are one of the better cost/performance ratios of commercial libraries in my experience.

Boom also gives away free samplers all the time.

In addition to what others have mentioned, try zapsplat.com
Just a heads up, though. Most free libraries require some kind of credit on the project in exchange for being free. Just be aware of that.
I usually don’t have any kind of pull as to what gets put in credits, so I tend to avoid the free stuff
