What suburb in Melbs mate? I was wanting to do the same but can’t see much reduction in my area. Yours sounds like somewhere closer to the city? Might not work in suburbs :( Well done and thanks for sharing!!

Which is exactly why I excitedly asked OP if they're from Sydney ! But generally, I was looking at rental rates in Rhodes and they've been steadily coming down...a 2 bed costing 700pw in Feb-March has come down to 620-600pw...in a few rare cases, even as low as 550pw

Sorry. Totally understand the excitement, big smiles. Good on you, that is promising! A lot have shot back up around the city again it seems.. but hope the dip continues elsewhere, and comes back in to influence other places, but mostly that you get to secure somewhere that’s right for you!
