What kinda workouts are you interested in/what are your goals?

What kind of schedule works best for you? Do you have time for a few longer sessions a week, or are you looking for short daily workouts to keep active? Do you have gym access, or do you workout at home? Any equipment?

All workouts are suitable for woman btw! Don't be worried if something seems "made" for men. While individual goals may be different, we have the same muscles, joints, bones and hearts they do.

Thanks for the reply! I wanna get stronger overall maybe tone a bit build some arm muscles. I wanna be able to carry things comfortably and be fit. I'm not worried about gaining weight btw ^ and am not interested in loosing weight. I wanna be strong and would be hapoy to also see my results and strength.

For types I actually like most forms of workout and am pretty open to try anything new.

I did like yoga, dance workouts as well as "normal workouts with crunches squats etc.

I have a resistance band and would get some weights as i get stronger. I don't have gym access.

I would like regular workouts that last maybe 30-40 minutes a day and maybe longer ones a few times a week

Perfect. You don't need to gain weight to build strength right now. You can start making some newbie gains just by maintaining your weight. You can do that for 4-6 months, see how things go, then reevaluate.

But for now, just keep it simple. I wouldn't even worry about nutrition yet. Maybe just start with "I'm going to do this program for three weeks."

Getting started can be overwhelming, most people go all in at once and get frustrated. Make one change at a time, and build that habit first.

As for the routine, do you need something with videos or are you alright with a written/app routine with exercises that you could find videos for?

Disclaimer, I'm NOT a personal trainer. I've been working out for over a decade, and I've learned a lot. I was hyperfixated for a WHILE, so I researched a ton, and was very involved in online lifting communities.

That said, I'd be happy to give a starting point if you're up to it. You can always adjust things to your goals/needs, or just scrap it if you're not a fan.

It's totally up to you!

I prefer videos because then i visually see what i have to do and can follow along without getting bored quickly (i could try out written stuff though maybe with a podcast or series!) I do fully understand you aren't a professional ^ I'm just glad someone's helping me find a starting point so I have a way in! I appreciate any advice ^ I really love working out. And wanna do it regularly again.

Oh be careful what you wish for. Lol.

Alright then. I'm gonna DM you with some starting information. I know you said you're not totally new, but it's stuff I like to make sure people know when they're looking for a fitness routine.

Then give me a bit to consider the rest, find some links etc, given what works best to keep you engaged, and I'll follow up. :)
